Does rain x wiper fluid work12/27/2023 Should have bought one of those 10 years ago when they were 1/2 the price. Kind hard to follow genius of the original. Not up on Lexus, but I suppose some of their F Type stuff might be "inspired" They did have that crazy woven carbon fiber supercar a few years ago and I think they have some high end coupe. Civic Si of course, unfortunately now turbo like everything else, but hey, less "work" to go fast than the iconic V-tecs. There is the aforementioned Type R if ADM$$$ doesn't turn you off. A gentleman's version of a Civic Type R with a back seat and no price gouging. Until this year you could get an Accord Sport with the 2.0T and a 6 speed. Honda is also one of the last hold outs for MT cars. I'd think a fuel cell car is pretty inspired. Too bad about the Subaru engine, but at least its good for CG. BRZ - one of only 2 mass produced lightweight (by modern standards) sports cars available in the US. Supra in 4cyl if handling is your thing and 6 cyl if too fast is, assuming you are OK with an AT BMW. Lets see, if you are talking about not boring as meaning a "drivers" car:ģ00hp Camry - no MT but 0-60 in 5.x sec if "cheap" speed your thing, Corolla Hatch with a 6 Speed - not especially fast (by modern standards) but probably fun to wring out. For the record I prefer understated, so pretty much all new cars suck in that regard. If you referring to styling, that's a different and highly subjective discussion that does not really interest me. ![]() But there are plenty of interesting and inspired Toyotas and Hondas, though not many recently, but again that's true for the others as well. I agree that the vast majority of Hondas and Toyotas are transportation appliances, but isn't that true for most full line manufacturers. All the torque of a V-tec is from 4500-6000 rpm, not sure how driving a car like that to make it go is boring. Id be grateful if you could find me a nice MT6 TSX to replace my totaled one.
